Oil Only Absorbent Pillow

An oil-only absorbent pillow (10" x 10") is an industrial-grade spill control product designed to contain and absorb heavy petroleum-based leaks while completely repelling water. Engineered for use in industrial, manufacturing, and marine environments, these compact pillows are ideal for managing concentrated oil, fuel, diesel, and hydraulic fluid leaks from machinery, hoses, pumps, or drums—especially in wet or outdoor conditions.

Constructed with a highly absorbent polypropylene filler, oil-only pillows utilize hydrophobic and oleophilic technology, allowing them to selectively absorb hydrocarbons while floating on water and rejecting moisture. This makes them especially effective for oil-water separation applications, outdoor spill response, and marine use where water exposure is unavoidable. Their bright white color clearly identifies them as oil-only sorbents and allows users to easily monitor saturation levels during use.

The 10-inch by 10-inch size is specifically designed for tight or confined spaces where pads or socks are impractical, such as under leaking equipment, around piping, inside drip pans, or in corners. The durable outer skin—typically mesh or spunbond polypropylene—promotes fast wicking while maintaining structural integrity, even when fully saturated. Many models are capable of absorbing up to approximately one gallon of oil per pillow, making them suitable for high-volume, localized leaks.

Oil-only absorbent pillows are commonly used for machine maintenance, emergency spill response, marine and dockside applications, and industrial wash tanks or oil-water separators.
